Lorelyn Mayr, owner/graphic artist/illustrator/web designer
Born and raised in Bozeman, Lorelyn (Lori) has a background in animal science, biotechnology, and graphics and web design. She has over six-year experience as a designer. She completes jobs from the smallest illustration to 100+ page magazine layouts with the same care and dedication. Lorelyn strives to give her clients the best customer service.
Lorelyn has been designing custom WordPress websites for over six years. She has a firm understanding of the programming and management needed to assure that her websites maintain a high degree of functionality and usability for her clients. She is proficient in creating sites for general information, e-commerce, multi-site installations, and event registrations.
Lorelyn also provides social media expertise for her clients. She uses her design skills, marketing knowledge, and SEO information to manage social media and online advertising for her clients. She utilizes website SEO best practices, blog posts, Google Ads, Facebook, Linked-in, Instagram, and Twitter for advertising options based on each ad’s goals and target demographics.
Besides owing Media Works, Lori is a volunteer supporting the board as the website administrator for the Bozeman Business and Professional Women’s Organization. She provides them website assistance and graphic design work. She is also a member of AIGA (Associated Illustrators and Graphic Artists) through which she keeps up-to-date on the latest design ideas and trends. Lori also gives back to the local community by working with students. Media Works has hosted several high-school students for job-shadows, we have hired interns from MSU and Bozeman Senior High to teach them hands-on website skills, and Lori taught an elective 4-week class at Anderson School on Graphic Design. One spring Lorelyn spent time meeting with students from West Yellowstone and Lone Mountain High School (of Big Sky, MT) to discuss careers in Graphic Design, Website Design, and Small-Business ownership.
Lorelyn also raises English cocker spaniels. She’s had two litters from Ginger and plans to continue breeding these wonderful dogs. When she’s not working Lorelyn is usually keeping busy as a mom, or on Hauser Lake with her husband, three kids, and their English Cockers, Teddy and Ginger.
