Media Works was established in 1985.
The company has always been on the forefront of technology, providing clients with the latest graphic design, illustration, website design, video and photography capabilities. Now over 30 years later our philosophy, passion and drive to provide superior design for clients continues.
Lorelyn Mayr, owner/graphic artist/illustrator/web designer
Born and raised in Bozeman, Lorelyn has a background in animal science, biotechnology, and graphic and web design. A long-time family friend of the Lonner’s, she purchased Media Works from Martha Lonner in 2013 and continues the Media Works philosophy of going beyond expectations for every client and project.
Besides owing Media Works, Lori is a volunteer on the board as the website administrator for the Bozeman Business and Professional Women’s Organization. She provides them website assistance and graphic design work. She is also a member of AIGA (Associated Illustrators and Graphic Artists) through which she keeps up-to-date on the latest design ideas and trends. Lori also gives back to the local community by working with students. Media Works has hosted several high-school students for job-shadows, we have hired interns from MSU and Bozeman Senior High to teach them hands-on website skills, and Lori taught an elective 4 week class at Anderson School on Graphic Design. This spring Lori and Kory will both spend time meeting with students from West Yellowstone and Lone Mountain High School (of Big Sky, MT) to discuss careers in Graphic Design, Website Design and Small-Business ownership.
When she’s not in the studio Lorelyn is usually hiking or on Hauser Lake with her husband, three kids, and their English Cockers “Teddy” and “Ginger.”
