Creating a Map Combines Technical Illustration skills with Contemporary Design
I recently completed an update and re-design of a map Media Works had provided to Headhunters Fly Shop a few years ago. The new project included adding some information, illustrating a creek that was missing from the original, and removing some items that just made the map too busy. My technical illustration skills really come in handy for making sure the roads/creeks/and river all are exact. Headhunter’s also wanted a more contemporary look to match their logo. I updated to new crisp and modern fonts, placed a watermark and it was good to go.
