This project for MSU Extension involved creating a brand for the entire Mental Wellness Conversation Curriculum (MWCC) and then using it to create custom playing cards used by trained facilitators to provide stress resources to individuals in a comfortable way (playing cards). The branding and illustrations were created using MSU Extension brand colors (blue and gold). The feel of the designs and illustrations is relaxed and fun to encourage use of the cards. My role included editing the text content so it was applicable for the target audience- agricultural workers and fit within the defined space of the cards. The deck contained a total of 56 cards- the full set of playing cards, and two informational cards. The backs on all the cards was the same (the image with the mountains and cows.)
There have also been 5 different versions of the MWCC manual and custom card decks which I have designed so they are locally branded and culturally appropriate for their locations (Arizona, Colorado, AgWell, FarmAid, Guam). Examples of those are also shared below, showing some cover adaptions, card boxes adaptations, and some wallet card changes for different locations.
